① High hardness of workpiece (such as steel components) requires high pressure compressed air. For some special materials or workpieces after heat treatment, in order to achieve the specified roughness, we need not only high pressure compressed air, but also some abrasives (such as alumina) with high hardness, but also for materials such as aluminum alloy, titanium alloy and magnesium alloy For finished workpieces, we need to lower the pressure of compressed air, because high pressure will damage the surface of workpieces. In order not to damage the surface of workpieces, we need to use abrasives with low hardness (such as plastic abrasives, dry ice, etc.) like FRP workpieces. It is better to do some tests to determine the correct pressure of compressed air.
② The results of shot peening will increase the actual surface area of the cleaned surface and make the workpiece deform. The thinner the wall of the workpiece, the more serious the deformation will be. For thin-walled workpieces in China, Shanghai sandblasting machine must be careful in cleaning. The process parameters of shot peening, including compressed air pressure, abrasive type, particle size and particle shape, and between nozzle and workpiece, shall be determined through tests Distance, etc.
③ Shot peening technology can meet many surface treatment requirements, such as cleaning, roughening (roughening), fading, strengthening, deburring, polishing, etc. Different surface treatment requires different pressure of compressed air.
④ There are many kinds of abrasives, and their properties are quite different. Some Abrasives have good mechanical properties, high hardness and good toughness. When the pressure of compressed air reaches 0.7MPa or above, they also have good impact resistance. This is what we all know. The impact resistance of plastic abrasives is far less than that of steel sand. Considering the main use and economy of plastic abrasives, compressed air The pressure can only be 0.2-0.3mpa or even lower.
